amanda pepe

Amanda has had a long career in media, communications and management roles with a focus on independent media, arts and not-for-profit organisations. She has managed a diverse range of print and online publications including editing the iconic Adelaide masthead The Adelaide Review. She was Publisher of Solstice Media, South Australia’s only independent daily source of online news, InDaily and also worked as a freelance feature writer and sub-editor for a number of publications. As CEO of The Helpmann Academy, she formed deep links with arts, education and government in South Australia. Her interest in art and culture stems from a strong personal commitment to the important role they play in enriching society. She has been Deputy Chair of Music SA, inaugural Chair of The Mill, a multi-arts NFP in Adelaide, and a director of CanDo4Kids. She is currently a director of Adelaide (UNESCO) City of Music. Amanda has broad experience in communicating complex issues in terms that are accessible to all, dealing with all levels of government and the business community and achieving outcomes that benefit all involved.

kimberlee brown

Kimberlee is a tax, accounting, and superannuation specialist. Over the last 20 years she has successfully led national start-up business divisions and managed significant offshore operations. Her expertise in self-managed superannuation made Kimberlee a national go-to for specialist commentary on the topic. She previously established and oversaw H&R Block’s national SMSF division and was General Manager of SuperGuardian. Kimberlee is a CPA and registered tax agent now running her own consultancy business; Quick Brown Fox Finance, working predominately with small business, startups and not for profits. She is also a board member and treasurer of the Social Impact Investment Network SA.

felicity graham

Felicity was 8 years old when she entered the child protection system. At age 16 she published her first book, 'Not Held Down', sharing her personal experience of the foster care system. Now a published author and Founder of Fostering Change Australia; advocating for and with young people to make systematic change by working with leading organisations, using a lived experience approach. Felicity is the Channel 7 News Young Achiever of the Year 2023.

kendall crowe

Kendall is Business SA’s General Manager, Policy, Advocacy and International Services. With the rare experience of having worked for cabinet ministers on both sides of politics coupled with several years at executive level in the public sector – Commonwealth and State - Kendall has an extensive network and an excellent understanding of the political arena and its inherent sensitivities.

She is experienced in strategy and policy development in multiple sectors including immigration, federal financial relations, workers compensation, child protection and education, and is skilled in influencing agendas through advocacy and negotiation.

lauren lang

Lauren is an Associate Director at PwC Australia. With a background in HR leadership and project roles in Australia and overseas, Lauren supports organisation to put people at the heart of everything they do in events such as M&A, change projects and the execution of workforce strategies. As a mum of two young boys that has had the privilege of attending many community run arts and cultural experiences, Lauren see’s the tremendous importance in supporting all children to experience the awe and wonder of the great arts and culture experiences in the places they live.

Tully Barnett

Tully is Associate Professor in Creative Industries at Flinders University and Director of Assemblage Centre for Creative Arts. Her teaching and research focus on the arts and cultural sector including cultural policy, evaluation and leadership. She is a Chief Investigator on the ARC Linkage project Laboratory Adelaide: The Value of Culture, which considers the problem of how value is understood, assessed, and reported in the arts and culture sector. An outcome of that project is the co-authored book What Matters? Talking Value in Australian Culture (2018) with Julian Meyrick and Robert Phiddian. She is a founding member of the Reset Arts and Culture group, a collaborative group of people representing the three universities and members of the arts and culture sector in South Australia seeking to understand and reframe the discussion around arts and culture.

Zara McDonald

Zara is the Founder of Brave & Able, working with passion and big goals to help improve the wellbeing of children and families. Prior to launching Brave & Able, Zara led marketing, communications, engagement and people departments within state government, focused on delivering housing and place development projects to create better futures for South Australians. 

Matt CLEMOW - Board director

Matt is the Director of Social Policy Solutions, which provides advice to Governments, non-Government and private sector organisations across Australia within the social and affordable housing, disability and broader social services sectors. Matt is the Director of Housing Renewal Australia Oaklands Park, Australia’s first private family equity-led social housing renewal project, Deputy Chair of the Committee for Adelaide and an alumnus (2016) of the US Government’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).

nick linke - Board Director

Nick is a Lawyer and Partner at Denton’s, practicing principally in contentious and non-contentious employment and insurance law in the District and Supreme Courts of South Australia, the Fair Work Commission, the South Australian Employment Tribunal and the Australian Human Rights Commission. Editor of the South Australian Industrial Law chapter of Halsbury's Laws of Australia. Nick serves on multiple Boards and Committees including Dentons Australia, Restless Dance Theatre (Chair), SALA Inc. (Chair), Adelaide Central School of Art Inc. (Deputy Chair), Adelaide Fringe Inc, Adelaide Food Fringe Inc, Centre for Creative Health, May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust, Adelaide University Law School Advisory Board. Nick was awarded Best Lawyers SA Lawyer of the Year 2021.

Trish hansen - FOUNDER and CHIEF Executive OFFICER

Trish Hansen is the Principal of Urban Mind Studio. As a strategist and systems designer in the fields of health, wellbeing, arts and culture, Trish works to enrich the creative and cultural life of places, neighbourhoods and cities. Currently a Good Design Australia Ambassador, Fellow of the Centre for Conscious Design and Board Chair of Brink Productions and serving on other committees.
